Cancellation and Return Policy – Alhafez Furniture

 

1. Special Orders (Made-to-Order Products):

All special or custom orders (including specific sizes, colours, or bespoke items) become final after 3 business days from the order confirmation date. After this period, cancellation is not guaranteed.

If cancellation is accepted, Alhafez Furniture reserves the right to deduct a cancellation fee of up to 30% of the total order value, or a higher amount if actual losses exceed this percentage.

2. Legal Cooling-Off Period (Distance Selling Only):

For orders placed online, by phone, or outside the store, customers have the right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the goods, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

This right does not apply to:

• Custom-made or personalised items
• Goods that have been used, assembled, or altered in a way that affects their resale condition

3. In-Store Purchases:

Orders placed in-store are not subject to the 14-day cooling-off period.

Cancellation is only possible at the discretion of the company and must be agreed in writing.

Custom orders placed in-store become final once a deposit is paid or the order is confirmed.

4. Returns:

• Items must be returned in their original condition, unused, and in original packaging
• Returns are not accepted for clearance, discounted, or sale items
• The customer is responsible for return delivery costs unless the item is faulty

5. Refunds:

Where a refund is approved, it will be processed within 14 days of:

• The company receiving the returned goods, or
• The customer providing valid proof of return (whichever is earlier)

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

6. Company Rights:

Alhafez Furniture reserves the right to refuse any return or cancellation that does not comply with this policy and to deduct any reasonable costs incurred.
